Amy Schweizer
Ag Lender
Newton South
Amy Schweizer is based at the bank’s South Newton location, where she partners with local farmers and agribusiness customers, bringing both professional expertise and a deep-rooted connection to agriculture.
Raised on her family’s farm in Towanda, Schweizer’s ties to agriculture began early and shaped her career. She attended Butler Community College before earning her degree from Fort Hays State University.
Her professional experience includes a decade with ADM in Leoti, where she advanced from college intern to grain originator and ultimately served as a regional commercial manager. During that time, she also earned a master’s degree in AgBusiness from Kansas State University, further strengthening her understanding of the industry and markets.
Today, Schweizer remains closely connected to agriculture in her personal life. She and her husband, Austin, farm near Abbyville, where they manage a cow herd and focus on improving soil health through practices such as cover cropping and input management. In addition, Schweizer and her sisters co-own and manage a dairy goat herd.
