IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, the USA Patriot Act requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies companies who opens an account.
WHAT THIS MEANS TO YOU:
When you open a new account, we will ask for your name, physical address, date of birth, taxpayer identification number and other information that will allow us to identify you. We will also ask to see your driver’s license and other identifying documents.
- Fill out account application completely, making sure to choose which account type/s you are wanting to open. Then submit application
- Once we receive your account application, we will review it and contact you when the paperwork is ready to sign. If you are a new bank customer you will be required to come into your location of choice to sign the necessary paperwork.
